Strength – I really liked how you challenged the common assumption that educational technology is a recent development by beginning with CSIRAC and connecting this history to modern tech like AI. Keep – I would keep the connection between the historical development of technology and how your change in perspective will help you become a better future teacher. This personal reflection makes your blog relevant and shows a genuine engagement with the content.

Suggestion – I would suggest you might want to strengthen the analysis a bit further, I think you could explore the issue with equal access in more depth, specifically the relation to the digital divide in certain low SES areas. This would connect well with your action plan and provide consideration of whether all students have equal chance to take lessons supported by technology.

Strength – I really liked how you connected the question to your own experience with AI, uni and everyday technology. This made your blog post feel personal while you still supported your statements with good readings. I thought your analysis of AI’s environmental impact was really good because it expanded on the cost to the world through privacy, carbon emissions and energy use.

Keep – I would keep your discussion of the contradiction between relying on technology while questioning the consequences that come with it. It’s a really good point for us as future teachers because it shows that completely rejecting technology is unrealistic, while using all the time can create problems.

Suggestions – I think you could strengthen by providing examples of how we might teach students to identify misinformation or the use of AI properly. I think this could make your action plan more practical.
